Formed in July 2021, the Visual, Audio, Creative Content Professionals Association (Singapore) (VICPA) champions the interests of Singapore’s growing pool of freelance creative professionals. Today, a lack of industry standards has contributed to an undervaluation of creative services. Work terms and conditions could also be further improved.
WHY JOIN VICPA
Creative professionals take pride in their work, which includes the upholding of fair-trade practices. VICPA strives to level up professionalism of creative practitioner-members through a professional code of ethics, and to raise awareness among clients on how to value and procure creative works and their copyrights at fair rates. WHO CAN BE A VICPA MEMBER?
If you are a freelance or self-employed visual, audio and/or creative content professional, we welcome you to sign up as a VICPA member! You are eligible to sign up as a VICPA Ordinary member if you:
(a) are active in the creative industry, and
(b) specialise in one or more of the categories below, and
(c) draw your income from the specialisation(s) as a professional practitioner, and
(d) are committed to uplifting the creative trade and practices by upholding the professional code of ethics set out by VICPA, adopting the relevant tripartite standards, and taking steps to strengthen the ecosystem.

Membership Categories
Apart from advocacy, work-related advisory and assistance, and benefits, VICPA Ordinary members may stand for office to serve as a VICPA leader.
However, if you are engaged in one or more of these specialisation(s) but on a less regular basis, you may sign up as a VICPA Associate member. Point (a), (b) and (d) of the above eligibility criteria would therefore apply. As a VICPA Associate member, VICPA continues to extend advocacy, work-related advisory and assistance, and benefits, to you.
How do I sign up?
To be a VICPA member, simply sign up as a NTUC member at:www.ntuc.co/VICPA
Please select 'VICPA' under the field for Company Name.
If you are already an NTUC member and are a freelance/self-employed audio, visual, content professional, please write to us atvicpa@ntuc.org.sgand we will send to you a form to convert your membership to VICPA. Your membership tenure, linkpoints, and rebates would not be affected.

Highlights: Covid-19 (C-19) Temporary Relief Scheme (11 Oct 2021 - 31 Mar 2022)
VICPA members who had tested COVID-19 positive or ART positive during the period from 11 Oct 2021 - 31 Mar 2022, both dates inclusive, and who fulfil the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for this one-off relief quantum.
Note that this is a once-off disbursement per Eligible Member.
